Anaerobic Digestion

A 2 MW/h electricity to grid anaerobic digestion (AD) plant located in North Wales.

The project is RHI accredited and maximised Feed in Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentives.

A Power offtake was agreed with Good Energy.

The feedstock supply for the AD plant included feedstock supply agreements for Chicken litter, Dairy DAF effluent, Glycerol and energy crops.

ESF Energy, together with the waste business development partner, structured the project and contracts and successfully secured equity funding allowing the project to be built out and successfully commissioned.
